Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite vs Realme 7 Pro, which of the two to buy?
If you want to bring out a new smartphone and are looking for a good, beautiful and cheap phone, two brands immediately come to mind: Realme and Xiaomi.
Because “Made in China” is no longer scary. Why Chinese smartphones are synonymous with quality and why realme and Xiaomi are two of the best brands in the current Android scene.
Today we’re facing two of his best BBB terminals – good, nice and cheap. We are referring to the Realme 7 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite. Two really interesting smartphones that are available at a very affordable price. But which of the two is better?
Design and screen: notch or hole in the screen?
Neither of the two terminals is distinguished by its design. It is not for nothing that we are confronted with construction lines that can already be seen in many other terminals at low prices. They’re not overly fat, they hold hands well, and are generally pretty pretty. However, If the two terminals are different, will be displayed on the screen.
The Realme 7 Pro uses AMOLED technology for the 6.4-inch screen with Full HD + resolution, something that gives it a lot of quality, sharpness, brightness and viewing angles. On the contrary, we only have a refresh rate of 60 Hz compared to the 90 of the predecessor Realme 6 Pro and Realme 7 Normal. All of this accompanied by a hole in the screen to hide the front camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, on the other hand, has a 6.57-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution. As with the Realme 7 Pro, we also have a refresh rate of 60 Hz, although the Chinese brand has opted for the increasingly controversial notch instead of the more elegant solution of the hole in the screen to “hide the front camera”. A matter of taste.
Cameras: normal in this price range
The Realme 7 Pro has a 64 megapixel main sensor able to produce bright, detailed and sharp results. It also has an ultra wide angle (8 MP) suitable for daytime scenes with lots of light, and a double 2 megapixel sensor, a macro and portraits that unfortunately don’t get the results you want. On the front we find a 32 MP sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite has four cameras on the back, with a main sensor of 48 MP and an aperture of 1: 1.79accompanied by an 8 MP wide angle and an aperture of f / 2.2, a 2 MP depth sensor and an aperture of f / 2.4 and a 5 MP macro lens and an aperture of f / 2.4 . In front of this Mi 10 Lite we find a single 16 MP front camera and a f / 2.5 aperture, which are also of sufficient quality to take good selfies.
As for numbers The Realme 7 Pro wins the photographic section of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite although in practice both terminals are very “similar”. Keep in mind that both devices have the same shortcomings, especially when it comes to capturing macros and portraits.
Battery: the Xiaomi one step below the realm
Let’s start with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite. In this model we find a 4,160 mAh battery with 20W fast charge This is undoubtedly a good configuration to have good autonomy for hours without taking too long to charge. Despite the good configuration of this device, it is now no longer comparable to the Realme 7 Pro.
Because the Chinese device has a 4,500 mAh battery that easily gets 6 or 7 hours of screen, but where it really stands out is its charging speed. Because the 65W SuperDart technology is fantastic because the device can be charged from 0 to 50% battery in just 20 minutes.
Processor: Here Xiaomi wins the game
The Realme 7 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 720G, which is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage. The device’s performance is excellent and we can run almost any game or application without flinching. After our testing, we can now find some lag points in some cases, although this is more due to the software than the technical part.
On the other hand, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G is mounted on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, although only 6 GB of RAM are available here. This processor is slightly superior to the Realme, but the truth is that the average user (the target of these devices) won’t notice the difference. Despite the fact that there are quite a few users who do not support MIUI, of course, Xiaomi’s customization layer is above that of Realme not only in terms of stability, but also in terms of functions.
Realme 7 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite: which one should we choose?
In short, both terminals are the best options when we are looking for something for around 300 euros. The two smartphones are very similar and it’s small details that make them different.
In our case We stay with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite for its better processor and because we think its software is a few steps above the realm and offers a better user experience. The latter has a better fast charge than the Xiaomi, but is outperformed overall. Now both of them are great options and whichever is chosen it is correct.
