It costs 35 euros and has the logo of the bitten apple, but … is the AirTag worth it?
It is the fashionable device. Apple AirTags, introduced a few weeks ago, have become the most sought-after accessories by much of the Apple community.
Not only for the low price of only 35 euros, but also for the great work Apple has done in showing us that this device is slightly larger than a coin. it would change our lives.
Me as an Apple user who not only has an iPhone, but also many other products from the bitten apple such as the Homepod Mini – the impressions of which I leave you below -, I couldn’t help myself and also got an AirTag. Is it as amazing as they say? Let’s see.
I bought an AirTag, is it worth it?
Apple unveiled AirTag on April 20th, a new device whose goal was to prevent users of Apple devices We lose items that are as important as keys, backpacks, purses or bags.
Thanks to an attractive price of only 35 euros, it is more than certain that AirTags will become a sales success overnight. Who hasn’t lost their house keys more than once?
Since the AirTag is a product that is only intended to be used with Apple products, unlike other bitten apple products, it is not worth buying if we are Android phone users. basically because it’s impossible to configure.
Aside from this detail, the AirTag can be a great companion for anyone who has an iOS device. The configuration is very simple and quickly and in just a few minutes we linked the gadget to our Apple ID.
In addition, due to its small size, which is slightly larger than that of a euro coin, it is perfect to put in a handbag or backpack or to attach directly to keys when we buy an official Apple keychain that is priced higher than the AirTag itself.
Thanks to the “Search” application of the iOS terminal itself, we are always told where the AirTag is, as long as it is in the vicinity of another Apple product. The advantage of the AirTag is that it connects to the network of Apple products to share the location. As if that wasn’t enough, as long as we have an iPhone 11 or later, the precision search feature allows us to see the exact distance and location thanks to ultra-broadband technology. If not, the only way to find the AirTag is to play a sound thanks to this little device’s speaker.
As long as we have an iPhone 11 or higher, we can use the precision search function to show the exact distance and position thanks to ultra-broadband technology
On the other hand, there is an option called “Lost Mode” which basically has to be activated if we have effectively lost the AirTag and the object connected to it. In this way, we can share our phone number with anyone who is the device, even if it has Android, as long as it has NFC technology. After that, all that remains is to appeal to the good faith of the people, and whoever finds the AirTag will contact us to return our lost object.
So the AirTag is as wonderful as it is painted? To be sincere, If you have previously been able to live without AirTag, you can easily continue doing so.. On the other hand, if you’re a person like me who carries four sets of keys (home, home, office, and car), a wallet and briefcase or backpack to work, chances are you have one or two of these devices that we can put into the Moments in which we cannot find the keys to enter the office save another fear.
However, Don’t make anyone think that the AirTag is a product designed to prevent theft and theft and that nothing is further from the truth. It’s an object for unsuspecting people who don’t know in the morning where the hell they left their car keys.
