With a week left before you kick off the weekend, it’s time to take a look back and see which of the last week’s most popular releases have been on Google Play. After 54 consecutive weeks, like every Friday, we return to choose the best applications and the best new games for Android.
During this week, one of the quietest in October in terms of launches when “only” we had to attend the presentation of the new Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, dozens of apps reached Google Play and new games for Android. but Only these 6 managed to sneak their way into our weekly selection:
Android apps of the week
From the makers of the famous Substratum theme engine, it landed on Google Play this week Hyperion, a new launcher that is extremely customizable.
The app offers, even though it is in the early stages of its development Dozens of different customization options as well as features we haven’t seen in any other launcher as far as components of the Google Material Theme design language. Since it’s a free app, it’s definitely worth trying out.
Three.do is probably the fastest reminder app when it comes to planning small tasks. Just open the app and select the three basic parameters of the task you want to perform: who, what and when As simple as that.
The company behind one of the most important and widely used map and navigation platforms, Garmin presents its new proposal to plan routes abroad. While it’s optimized to work better with one of the company’s wearables, it’s possible to use it without the need for either.
Games of the week for Android
The epitome of the game of basketball is back for another year with a delivery that is as joyful as it is disappointing. NBA 2K19 is available for Android Since the middle of this week with an improved graphics engine, story mode and simplified controls, but one of the features that are best appreciated by players on iOS: Multiplayer mode.
Despite this shortcoming NBA 2K19 is hands down the best title in its category available on mobile. Something that is normal given the high price.
Reign: Game of Thrones
Also in the middle of this week, it was added to the ranks of Google Play Governed, the famous map-based strategy title, this time in his edition of Game of Thrones. This is how its own creators define it:
Through Melisandre’s fiery visions, you can claim the Iron Throne as Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and more to carefully control the seven kingdoms’ complex relationships and hostile factions.
Use reckless tactics to outsmart your political rivals and apply your irresistible charm to your measly flag. Maintain balance and human favor to extend your reign and perhaps one day survive the horrors of the coming winter.
This week’s selection of apps and games ends with an action-packed chase titlewhere our goal will be to reach the elusive criminals and kill them while we circulate on the highway at maximum speed. All accompanied by a graphics and sound section that takes us back to the 90s.
