As a Legal, Compliance & Quality Director, you will be part of our global Legal, Compliance & Quality team. Our team ensures that Novo Nordisk complies with legal and regulatory requirements in the countries where we operate. We provide legal counsel and support in various areas, including business law, real estate, tax, compliance, and more. We also ensure that our products and business activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with relevant regulations. As the LCQ Director in Indonesia, you will play a critically important role in managing legal and compliance risks You will be liable for leading the development and implementation of the Legal, Compliance and Quality department, along with its strategies, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards, and driving a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization. You will report to the Vice President and General Manager and will have 3 direct reports under this role.
As a Legal, Compliance & Quality Director at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Provide legal advice and planned counsel to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Review and approve legal documents, contracts, and agreements to defend the organization’s interests.
  • Represent the organization in complex legal proceedings.
  • Manage legal affairs, ethics and compliance affairs, and quality matters of the affiliate.
  • Manage external reporting and data protection responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A graduation level degree in Law, with a Ph.D. or LL.M. degree preferred.
  • At least 6+ years of legal experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the pharmaceutical, chemical, life sciences, or medical device industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation and business transactions.
  • In-depth experience with Business Ethics and Compliance in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Membership in the applicable legal bar or law society.
